Olympic Off-road

Most people who buy Jeeps do it for a reason…they like to drive off road.  Even when you buy a Jeep fully loaded from the dealer though, it is not in truth fully equipped for off road driving.  For example, do Jeeps normally come from the dealer with lifts kits or over-sized wheels and tires?  Do Jeeps come from the factory with bumper guards or body armor?  No.

Olympic 4x4 realizes the reason most people buy Jeeps and since 1948 they have been working on providing those extra Jeep parts that help people enjoy their Jeeps in the way that they are meant to be enjoyed.

Some of the parts that are manufactured by Olympic off road are accessories and some are actual parts.  The accessories are things like auxiliary bumpers, entry guards, receiver hitches, winch mounts, front end guards, brush guards, tire swings and tire mounts.  No, the tire swings made by Olympic are not the kind that you hang in a tree for kids to swing on.  These are heavy duty bars that you can mount on the rear of your Jeep and they carry your spare tire.  They can handle up to a 40” tire too.  There are also many other accessories manufactured by Olympic and you can easily view all of them on the Olympic web site.

On the other hand, you can get some of the main parts that are part of the Olympic off road line.  You can choose from a bumper, Safari doors or mirrors, side protection, utility racks and even smuggler bumpers.

If you enjoy feeling the wind in your hair while you are riding, you might want to look at the Safari doors.  These give the semblance of having a door…or part of a door while you get the freedom of not having a door…and it increases your range of sight for when you are driving in those tight spaces off road.  When you get a Safari door, you will want to get the Safari mirrors to go with it.  These will mount either to the door itself or to the windshield hinges.

Olympic has ALL sorts of bumpers for your Jeep too.  These will be of a more sturdy construction than the bumpers that come standard on your Jeep.  They can also have winch or auxiliary light mounts on them and will always offer more durable protection for your off road machine.
